i am a huge fan of rock shows. so i help book some at a club in NORTHAMPTON, MA. i'm only looking for total punk or maximum rock or anything that is a party. the club i book is about drinking and partying and rocking........... these are my rules: if you are no fun then no thanks. if you play long boring songs or long boring sets then no thanks. if you drive my people away and then continue to play for 45 more minutes then no thanks. if you ask me for money before the night is even half over (after driving away all my paying customers and friends) then no thanks. if you have more than 4 strings on your bass then no thanks. if want to book a show only to cancel then no thanks. if you want a guarantee then no thanks. if you are trying to do the same thing every fuck face is doing on mtv then please god, NO FUCKING THANKS!!!!!!!!!!! in general your band must be kick-ass. any style. friendly. fun. because that's what i want when i go see a rock show. DRINKING, ROCKING, AND FUN!.......... the club pays 100% of the door charge (minus doorguy, $50) to the bands. no guarantees. promote and you'll make money. if you are nice and sound awesome i will buy you a party size pizza and a case of pabst, black label, or bud.

Hey, I'm here again. byofl.com. Has myspace made you irrelevant? I think maybe I have. I hope someday I'll be back to you. Until then, I'll keep the candle burning. My bands are now called War On God, Fine Young Knives and Solar Systems. I'm still in Fargo. Might be in Minneapolis soon. I'm still not quite all there. Thanks for paying attention. Yo, you should ignore all the stuff in parentheses below, seeing as I'm not going to be too active with doing shows for a while. I'm moved to Fargo North Dakota and there are already a shit ton of shows here. Feel free to get in contact with me for whatever though, and check out my bands Toxic Shock Syndrome and Poets and Thieves, both on Myspace. I may be putting out our seven inch later on, or I might not. Who the fuck knows? Regardless, I'm looking forward to hearing from you? You stay classy... (I've been involved in the scene for a while now, am well connected, and really love music. If it's even remotely considered punk rock(indie, hardcore, crust, ect.), I'm more than likely down with it. If I can't do a show with you, I can probably get you one with one of my friends. The venue varies, but shows are usually 200+ on weekends, 100+ on weeknights. We emphasize promotion(If you have large posters, send that shit, but I handle the handhelds. Fliers that is. If you don't have larger ones, no problem), paying the bands (we hate guarantees, but are reasonable sumbitches), and most of all, having fun (isn't that what rock is all about?). Good, common sense promotion. Shit yeah. Email my shit. And for gods sake, put the date as first in the subject. It makes things way easier when I have eight million emails to wade through. In example, "6/25 show for Werockband") Your best bet is my good friends (and the guitar players in my bands, (Toxic Shock Syndrome (RIP) and Poets and Thieves, shameless plug) Elija Kirby. bother him at sugarxspikes@yahoo.com Or Ryan Veitch @hotmail.com

I've heard us described as Alison Krauss getting drunk and writing songs with X, or Johnny Cash meets Black Flag. We play country music that people that hate country music will love. Washboard, drums, guitar, bass, and mandolin, with female vocals. *The Colonel Dixies have broken up*

I book DIY punk shows in New Orleans. No contracts. No guarantees. No assholes. Get in touch if you need a show. If I can't help you out, I can probably find someone who will. Lodging: maybe. Food: maybe.

Introvert is a personal zine started in the late 90's and continues on through today. It contains personal writing on dealing with things like anxiety and mental illness in a creative painting-with-words sort of way. Nicole allows a snapshot of her life to be shown through the cut & paste waves of pages. Also included are frustrations of the struggle of being an introvert in the current society we live in. Both the mainstream and the underground.
