In February 2009, The Pleasure started their musical career fast, and it has only picked up speed. They are quickly becoming a recognized name locally for their distinctive original style and high-energy live shows. They have headlined in the Rock Uganda benefit concert series, played the large Starland Ballroom venue in Sayreville, New Jersey, as well as many other bars and clubs in the Philadelphia, Delaware, and New Jersey area. As high-school musicians only eight months into their musical career, they are playing at least four shows a month in several states and have independently released a 5 song EP. They have garnered respect from such world-class musicians as Vanna, a popular heavy metal band on Epitaph records, Tomato, from New York's The Sound of Urchin, and Eric Bazilian, the guitarist and songwriter from The Hooters. Put simply, they are one of the best bands in the area, and soon will be much more.
